That takes us to the selection of the 15 Greatest Players to have worn the Number 9 with a list of the top players that as of January 1, 2022 have worn the number in the NBA on game days.

  1. Bob Pettit - played the position of Forward and Center wearing the number on the Milwaukee Hawks (1955) and the St. Louis Hawks (1956-65) for 10 seasons as he scored 20880 points, dished out 2369 assists, crashed the boards for 12849 rebounds, blocked  shots and averaged 26.4 points per contest played for his career.
  2. Dwyane Wade - played the position of Guard wearing the number on the Cleveland Cavaliers (18) for 1 seasons as he scored 23165 points, dished out 5701 assists, crashed the boards for 4933 rebounds, smacked down 885 opponent's shots and averaged 22 points a game for his career.
  3. Tony Parker - lined up at G wearing the number on the San Antonio Spurs (2002-18), Charlotte Hornets (2019) for 17 years as he provided career 19473 points, created 7036 assists, fought for 3396 rebounds, blocked 98 shots, and averaged 15.5 points per game for his career.
  4. Andre Iguodala - played the Guard and Forward position with this jersey number for the Philadelphia 76ers (2005-12), Denver Nuggets (2013), and the Golden State Warriors (2014-19 and 22) for 14 seasons as he registered 13958 points, passed for 5133 assists, hauled down 6037 rebounds, swatted away 631 shots averaged 11.4 points each for his career.
  5. Dale Ellis - was a Guard/Forward donning the number on the Seattle SuperSonics (1998-99) and the Milwaukee Bucks (00) for 2 Pro Basketball seasons as he scored 19004 career points, helped out with 1746 assists, found the ball for 4201 rebounds, blocked 183 opposing teams' shots, averaging 183 points/game for his career.
