Basketball Hall of Fame Nets Players

The Nets franchise whether it be in Brooklyn, New Jersey, or New York has had some of the greatest players in Hoops history on the roster. Here are the former nets players that are enshrined in the Hall of Fame:

Rick Barry

Born March 28, 1944, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Forward Rick Barry. This legend has accolades galore from his fourteen-year pro basketball career. Barry's awards include being a four-time All-ABA standout, twelve-time NBA All-Star, and six-time All-NBA. The man could play and score, averaging 24.8 points per game during his career, which included stints with the San Francisco Warriors, Oakland Oaks, Washington Capitols, New York Nets, Golden State Warriors, and Houston Rockets.

Jason Kidd

Born March 23, 1973, in San Francisco, California, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Guard Jason Kidd. This legend was a nine-time All-Defensive NBA standout, an NBA Champion 2011, and a six-time All-NBA star. His ten All-Star games set him on a level few have reached in the NBA, eventually placing him on the 2017 NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Kidd played on the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and the New York Knicks.

Julius Erving

Born February 22, 1950, in East Meadow, New York, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Forward Julius Erving. Known as Dr. J., Erving was a scoring sensation, averaging 24.2 points per game, but it was his amazing feats of athleticism that generally stunned the crowds. Dr. J was a sixteen-time All-Star, four-time NBA MVP, and five-time All-ABA and was selected to the 2017 NBA Greatest 75th Anniversary Team. His Houdini-like maneuvers on the basketball floor made him a legend as he played for the Virginia Squires, New York Nets, and the Philadelphia 76ers in a brilliant 16-year career.

Drazen Petrovic
