Born September 25, 1835, in Sheffield, England was Baseball Hall of Fame Center Fielder Harry Wright. This legend was one of the pioneers that brought professional baseball to the forefront of American sports in the Nineteenth Century. He played on the Boston Red Stockings and the Boston Reds of early baseball.

Harry Wright
Harry Wright wasn't your typical baseball player. He was an English immigrant who helped birth America's pastime, leaving a legacy etched in both playing and managing. Here's a glimpse:
