Baseball Hall of Fame

The museum of great players, their careers, and the unique things they accomplished while playing the game of baseball. The select few and cream of the crop have been inducted into the legendary baseball museum in Cooperstown, New York. There are not just players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, but executives, managers, umpires, and more that contributed to changing the game or extraordinarily took an element to new heights.

Here you will not only find the players in the Hall but also examine the top players at each jersey number in our ongoing pursuit to preserve the player, uniform and team history.

Hal Newhouser

Born May 20, 1921, in Detroit, Michigan, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher Hal Newhouser. This legendary hurler was a seven-time MLB All-Star, was on the World Series Champion Detroit Tigers in 1945, won the AL MVP 1944 and 45, and won the Triple Crown 1945.

Deacon White - Early Baseball HOF 3rd Baseman

Born December 2, 1847, in Caton, New York, was Baseball Hall of Fame Third Baseman Deacon White. This legend's claim to fame was that he was one of the first to throw right-handed but bat left-handed, which helped his Detroit Wolverines team win the 1887 World Series title. White also played stints with the Cleveland Forest Citys, Boston Red Stockings, Chicago White Stockings, Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati, Buffalo Bisons, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. During his two-decade career, White batted .312 and had more RBI (988) than any player except Cap Anson. Deacon was near the top of baseball's all-time leaders in career games when he retired from playing at-bats, hits, and total bases.

Larry Walker Baseball HOF Player

Born December 1, 1966, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, was Baseball Hall of Fame Right Fielder and First Baseman Larry Walker. This legend won three MLB Batting Titles, seven Gold Glove Awards, and was a National League MVP. Walker played for the Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, and St. Louis Cardinals during his productive 17-year MLB career, which saw him bat .313 with over 2100 hits.

John McGraw

Born April 7, 1873, in Truxton, New York, was Baseball Hall of Fame Third Baseman and Manager John McGraw. McGraw was the third baseman of the pennant-winning 1890s Baltimore Orioles teams. John was also the manager of almost thirty years for the New York Giants baseball club. He took the Giants to nine pennants and three World Series Championships.

George Sisler

George Sisler was a Baseball Hall of Fame First Baseman, who attended college at the University of Michigan. Sisler was the American League MVP in 1922; AL batting champion 1920 and 1922 for the St. Louis Browns.

Al Simmons

The Baseball Hall of Fame bio on Al Simmons. Al Simmons who was Nicknamed "Bucketfoot Al." He played for two decades in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an outfielder and had his best years with Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics during the late 1920s and early 1930s, winning two World Series with Philadelphia. Simmons also played for the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Washington Senators, Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox. Simmons is one of the top MLB players that wore the Number 7 Jersey.
