Joe Dumars

Born May 24, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Guard, Joe Dumars. In College he played four seasons at at McNeese State University, averagin 22.5 points per game. Joe was drafted as the 18th overall selection in the 1985 NBA draft, and played for the Detroit Pistons for his entire career, from 1985 to 1999.

Teemu Selänne

Born July 3, 1970, in Helsinki, Finland was Hockey Hall of Fame Right Wing, Teemu Selänne. Teemu held the NHL rookie points record with 132 from the 1992-93 season. Selänne broke Mike Bossy's record of 53 goals by finishing the regular season with 76 goals for Winnipeg. He is also a six-time Olympian, with three bronze medals, and one silver. His NHL tenure included playing for the Winnipeg Jets and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He also had a stint in Colorado with the Avalanche, and fought through some injury plagued seasons, but in 2007 he returned to the Ducks and helped them with the Stanley Cup.

Eddie Shore

Born November 25, 1902, in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, was Hockey Hall of Fame Defenseman Eddie Shore. This legend was a four-time Hart Award winner and an eight-time NHL All-Star. His Hart Trophies are the most by any defenseman ever and are overshadowed by only Gordie Howe's and Wayne Gretzky's winnings. "The Edmonton Express." was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Shore liked to rough it up on the ice and once set a record of 165 penalty minutes one season.

Bryan Hextall

Born July 31, 1913, in Grenfell, Saskatchewan, Canada, was Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame Right Wing, Bryan Hextall. This legend was on the roster of the New York Rangers. Hextall was four-time first team NHL All Star. Officially he was named a first-team All-Star three times, and a second-team All-Star once. Bryan is always remembered as the skater that scored the overtime-winning goal that clinched the 1940 Stanley Cup for the Rangers.

Lanny McDonald

Born February 16, 1953, in Hanna, Alberta, was Hockey Hall of Fame Right Wing Lanny McDonald. This legend was a key player on the Calgary Flames' 1989 Stanley Cup championship team. He was a two-time All-Star and a four-time Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner. Before becoming a Calgary skater, McDonald was on the roster of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Colorado Avalanche.

Chuck Rayner

Born August 11, 1920, in Sutherland, Saskatchewan, was Hockey Hall of Fame Goaltender, Chuck Rayner. This legend from between the pipes won the Hart Memorial Trophy in 1950 and was an NHL All-Star 1949, 50, 51. He played his entire nine-year NHL career with the New York Americans, New York Rangers. In 1950 he led the Rangers to overtime in the seventh game of the Stanley Cup finals.

Johnny Bower

Born November 8, 1924, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, was Hockey Hall of Fame Goalie, "The China Wall," Johnny Bower. This legend between the pipes played for 15 seasons, capturing two Vezina Trophies and four Stanley Cup Championships. He was on the New York Rangers for the first three seasons of his career but experienced much of his success as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Bill Mosienko

Born November 2, 1921, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, was Hockey Hall of Fame Right Wing Bill Mosienko. This legend was a two-time NHL All-Star and won the 1944-45 Byng Award. Mosienko spent his entire 14-year career with the Chicago Black Hawks, scoring 258 goals with 282 assists. A famous moment during his career included him scoring three goals in just 21 seconds against the New York Rangers in 1952.

Gilbert Perreault

Born November 13, 1950, in Victoriaville, Quebec, was Hockey Hall of Fame Center Gilbert Perreault. This legend was a scoring machine, putting 512 pucks on the net in his brilliant career with the Buffalo Sabres. Perreault was a two-time NHL All-Star and made the 100 Greatest NHL Players list in 2017.

Lionel Hitchman

Born November 3, 1901, in Toronto, Ontario, was Hockey Hall of Fame Defenseman Lionel Hitchman. This legend was a two-time Stanley Cup Champion and Hart Memorial Award winner. Hitchman skated with the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins during his thirteen-year career.
