Dominik Hasek

Born January 29, 1965 in Pardubice, Czechoslovokia was Hockey Hall of Fame Goalie Dominik Hašek. This legend was a two-time Stanley Cup Champion and six-time NHL All-Star. Hašek had won the Jennings Trophy three times, the Ted Lindsey Pearson Award twice, six Vezina Trophies, and two Harts. He was also a member of the top 100 NHL Greatest Players in 2017. He entered the crease of the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, and Ottawa Senators.

Cristobal Torriente

Born November 16, 1893, in Cienfuegos, Cuba was Baseball hall of Fame Outfielders, Cristóbal Torriente. This legendary lefty was a powerful man with a bat in his hand. Cristobal was known as a pull hitter, but he could hit with power to all fields. Torriente played in the Negro Leagues for Chicago American Giants, Detroit Stars, Kansas City Monarchs, Detroit Stars, Louisville Black Caps, Atlanta Black Crackers, and Cleveland Cubs.

Walter Johnson

Born November 6, 1887, in Humboldt, Kansas, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher Walter Johnson. This Washington Senators mound legend helped the team win the 1924 World Series in seven games. Johnson was a five-time ERA title holder and a three-time Triple Crown Champion with two League MVPs to his credit. Walter had an amazing career ERA of 2.17 with 417 wins. The right-handed pitcher threw for Washington from 1907 to 1927. He later functioned as the manager of the Senators from 1929 through 1932 and of the Cleveland Indians from 1933 through 1935.

Candy Cummings

Born October 17, 1848, in Ware, Massachusetts, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher William "Candy" Cummings. This legend's claim to fame was that he is credited with creating the curveball. Between 1872 and 1875, he pitched in the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players with the New York Mutuals, Baltimore Canaries, Philadelphia White Stockings, and Hartford Dark Blues. He had a career ERA of 2.49 and won 63% of his games started with 259 career strike outs.

Leon Day

Born October 30, 1916, in Alexandria, Virginia, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher/Fielder Leon Day. He was a very versatile athlete and was known to play every position on the field well, but he preferred to stay away from catcher. This legend was a nine-time Negro League All-Star. Day played with the Baltimore Black Sox, Newark Eagles, and Baltimore Elite Giants during his career. Leon holds the record in the Negro and Puerto Rican league for strikeouts in a game, and appeared in the most East–West All-Star Games.

Don Drysdale

Born July 23, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher, Don Drysdale. This legend of the mound was a World Series Champions with the Brooklyn/LA Dodgers in 1959, 63, 65. Drysdale was a nine-time MLB All Star, and won the coveted Cy Young Award in 1962. One of the most dominant pitchers of the late 1950s to mid-1960s, Drysdale stood 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) tall and was not afraid to throw pitches near batters to keep them off balance.

Jason Kidd

Born March 23, 1973, in San Francisco, California, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Guard Jason Kidd. This legend was a nine-time All-Defensive NBA standout, an NBA Champion 2011, and a six-time All-NBA star. His ten All-Star games set him on a level few have reached in the NBA, eventually placing him on the 2017 NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Kidd played on the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and the New York Knicks.

Jim ORourke

Born September 1, 1850, in East Bridgeport, Connecticut, was Baseball Hall of Fame Left Fielder, Jim O'Rourke. This legend, known by many as "Orator Jim" was the National League Home Run leader in 1880 with the Boston Red Caps and he also played with the New York Giants. Jim later served as the manager of the Buffalo Bisons 1881-84, and Washington Senators 1893. Though he left the MLB in 1893 he kept on playing until he was 50 years old in the minor league system.

Jim Bunning

Born October 23, 1931, in Southgate, Kentucky, was Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher, Jim Bunning. This legend was a nine-time MLB All-Star. He tossed a perfect game in 1964, and a no-hitter in 1958. During his MLB career he spent time as a Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirate, Los Angles Dodger, and with the Philadelphia Phillies. After hanging up the spikes Bunning was elected as US Senator Kentucky 1999-2011; US Representative 1987-99.

Reggie Miller

Born August 24, 1965, in Riverside California was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame guard Reggie Miller. This legendary player who played his entire 18-year career in the National Basketball Association with the Indiana Pacers. He was known for his precision three-point shooting. Miller played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, earning third-team All-American honors as a junior in 1986. He was selected by Indiana in the first round of the 1987 NBA draft with the 11th overall pick.
