Kenny Anderson

Born October 9, 1970, in Queens, New York, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Point Guard Kenny Anderson. The number 2 overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft played for the New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, New Orleans Hornets, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Clippers

That takes us to the selection of the 15 Greatest Players to have worn the Number 13 with a list of the top players that as of January 1, 2022 have worn the number in the NBA on game days.

  1. Wilt Chamberlain - dominated the position of Center wearing the number 13 on the Philadelphia Warriors (1960-62), San Francisco Warriors (1963-65), and the  Philadelphia 76ers (1965-68), Los Angeles Lakers (1969-73) for 12 seasons as he scored 31419 points, dished out 4643 assists, crashed the boards for 23924 rebounds, blocked  shots and averaged 30.1 points per contest played for his career.
  2. Moses Malone - played the position of Center and Forward wearing the number on the Spirits of St. Louis (1976) for 1 seasons as he scored 29580 points, dished out 1936 assists, crashed the boards for 17834 rebounds, smacked down 1889 opponent's shots and averaged 20.3 points a game for his career.
  3. James Harden - lined up at Guard wearing the number on the Oklahoma City Thunder (2010-12), Houston Rockets (2013-21), and Brooklyn Nets (2021-22) for 12 years as he provided career 24145 points, created 6741 assists, fought for 5491 rebounds, blocked 530 shots, and averaged 24.8 points per game for his career.
  4. Steve Nash - played the Guard position with this jersey number 13 for the Phoenix Suns (1997-98 and 2005-12) and Dallas Mavericks (1999-04) for 15 seasons as he registered 17387 points, passed for 10335 assists, hauled down 3642 rebounds, swatted away 102 shots averaged 14.3 points each for his career.
  5. Mark Jackson - was a Guard donning the number 13 on the New York Knicks (1988-92 and 2002), Los Angeles Clippers (1993-94), Denver Nuggets (1997), Indiana Pacers (1995-00), Toronto Raptors (2001), and the Utah Jazz (2003) for 12 Pro Basketball seasons as he scored 12489 career points, helped out with 10334 assists, found the ball for 4963 rebounds, blocked 117 opposing teams' shots for his career.
