Born December 19, 1934, in Baltimore, Maryland, was Albert William Kaline, nicknamed "Mr. Tiger." Al was an American professional baseball right fielder who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Detroit Tigers wearing the Number 6.

Al Kaline
Al Kaline was the Detroit Tigers for more than two decades. Through last place finishes and World Series triumphs, the Motor City knew it had its sweet swinging right fielder to cheer for throughout the summer.
