This classic image of a group of ladies from Nome, Alaska depicts the basketball gear for women in 1908. The long stockings as was proper int the day not to show any skin on the legs, underneat bloomers, topped off by a nice sweater made these young ladies look sharp on the court. They topped it off by each wearing a big ole bow in their hair. It shows how far we have come in women's athletic wear in the last 115 or so years.
