Born September 27, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio - Mike Schmidt was the standout third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies. How good was he? We let's just say that he earned:

  • a World Series MVP 1980
  • a NL MVP 1980-81, 86
  • a 12 x MLB All Star
  •  10 x Gold Glove
