Born March 24, 1893, in Manchester, Ohio, was Baseball Hall of Fame First Baseman, George Sisler. George attended college at the University of Michigan. Sisler was the American League MVP in 1922; AL batting champion 1920 and 1922 for the St. Louis Browns. George also was the acting manager of the St. Louis Browns from 1924–26. He was inducted as Player to the Hall of Fame in 1939.
