Born April 1, 1939 in Blaine, Ohio, was Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher, Phil Niekro. Phil Niekro pitched wearing the Number 35 on the Milwaukee Braves (1964-65), Atlanta Braves (1966-83 and 1987), New York Yankees (1984-85), Cleveland Indians (1986-87), and Toronto Blue Jays (1987) for 24 seasons. He appeared in five All-Star games, won the ERA title, and was awarded five Gold Gloves over the course of his career.
