There is a lot to take in here from the era. The basketball itself is of a handcrafted leather contrstuction. How about the shoes on the players? Not exactly Air-Jordans, but these fellas ran the hardcourts in them. The initials of the school barely fit across the front of the jerseys, let alone the full name of Michigan Normal College Basketball Team!
It is interesting to note that the normal school became a university in 1959, acquiring the current name we know the school by today, Eastern Michigan University.
