November 23, 1965 - The 31st Heisman Trophy Award went to USC running back, Number 20Mike Garrett

November 23, 1966 - Chicago outfielder, Number 1Tommie Agee was voted AL Rookie of Year

November 23, 1984 - Boston College QB Number 22Doug Flutie passed for 472 yards, including game ending 48 yard TD (Hail Mary Pass) to end game & beat Miami 47-45

November 23, 1988 - Edmonton Oiler's Number 99, Wayne Gretzky scored his 600th NHL goal

November 23, 1991 - Brigham Young University quarterback Number 14Ty Detmer finishes NCAA career with record 4,031 yards passed in a season, and 15,031 yards for career
