To find the top players in NBA history that wore a particular number we must first look to the Hall of Fame to see which of the enshrined have played with this particular number. So far there has been only one player in the pros that has worn the NBA Number 73 and in fact he was so substaantial that he has been enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Rodman who was nicknamed the "Worm," wore the jersey Number 73 for one season in 1999 as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. 'Dennis the Menace" was in the twilight of his career and played only 23 games that season. He was a role player at that point on a Lakers squad that lost in the Western Conference Finals to the San Antonio Spurs.
