To find the top players in NBA history that wore a particular number we must first look to the Hall of Fame to see which of the enshrined have played with this particular number. No remember using a digit like 57 was illegal for quite some time. Each digit of the player had to be be between 0 and 5 so that an official could communicate the player's number to the scorer's table with two hands.
So far in NBA/ABA history there has only been one player to have worn the Number 57 as of January 1, 2023 that has worn the number in the NBA on game days. That happened in 2014 with the Golden State Warriors with:
- Hilton Armstrong
As always we are looking for more information, so if you find that we missed someone or a new number 57 has come to light, let us know. Either way we would love to hear your feedback, contact us at PigskinDispatch@gmail.com.
