Born April 16, 1947, Harlem, New York, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was the first overall pick in the 1969 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Kareem when he retired was the NBA's all-time leading scorer, a six-time NBA champion and the league's only six-time MVP.
