Born March 2, 1909, in Gretna, Louisiana, was Baseball Hall of Fame Right Fielder and Third Baseman Mel Ott. This legend was a twelve-time All-Star and part of the 1933 World Series Champion New York Giants team. Ott was part of the Giants franchise for 22 seasons.
